The Energy C-ST speaker stands will accommodate virtually any brand or size of bookshelf or satellite speaker. The attractive black / silver colors complement nearly any décor, and electronics products.Contrary to popular belief, most bookshelf speakers are really not designed to be used on a bookshelf. For optimum sound, most speaker manufacturers recommend that their speakers be placed at least twelve to eighteen inches from a back wall, preferably in free-space with no side barriers within eighteen to twenty-four inches. Not all listening environments allow this type of placement, but when possible it is best to position the speakers with these parameters in mind. That is where the Energy C-ST stands enter the picture. When you are seated in your listening area, these rugged, attractive, 25-inch tall speaker stands place the speakers around ear level for optimum listening.The hollow tubular support shafts are a medium silver-finished metal. The base is constructed of wood (MDF), and the pedestals are black metal. There are ¾ inch clips on the rear of the pole for wire management, and optional spiked feet are included.
